The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) is currently recommending that all Americans wear face masks when venturing out into public. Many cities in America have taken that one step further and are now making it mandatory that people wear some sort of mask when going outside.

For those people who work at jobs that require them to deal with the general public, this presents a challenge. Frequently, they come into contact with people far closer than the current recommended 6-foot distance. Cashiers are the group who are most affected as they usually stand within 3’ of the person paying for their purchases.
